The Gravel Project
Coming to Boston Harbor Distillery Friday March 3, 2023
This coming Friday Boston music fans will have an opportunity to see one of the hottest local bands in a unique and intimate music venue, The Boston Harbor Distaillery. Founded in 2012 by Rhonda Kallman, who is also the founder of the Boston Beer Company, makers of Samuel Adams beer, the distillery is housed in a historic building that dates back to the 1850s. Located in the city's bustling Seaport District, the distillery offers stunning views of the Boston Harbor and is ranked as one of the to 5 distillaries in the Boston area.
The venue began hosting live music events on a regular basis in the summer of 2018 with a weekly summer concert series called "Live at the Harbor”. Since then, Boston Harbor Distillery has continued to host a variety of live music events, including concerts, performances by local and regional musicians, and special events featuring live music, food, and drinks.
The Gravel Project will bring their exciting blend of rock, world music and jazz with power and soul to the unique venue this Friday. Originally created by Andrew Gravel (vocals, guitar), the band is an all star group of Boston music veterans including brother, Jordan Gravel (organ, keys), Dave Fox (drums), Eguie Castrillo (percussion) and Sarah Seminski (vocals). Carrying the tradition of 70’s blues and psychedelic rock music, The Gravel Project embodies the spirit of Santana combined with the classic raw energy and moving songwriting of The Allman Brothers and Tedeschi Trucks Band. The Gravel project have released three studio albums, including the recent and impressive new full length Many Miles Ahead.
Tickets for Friday night’s show at the Boston Harbot Distillery and other upcoming Gravel Project shows can be purchased on the bands website HERE.
